Kodokan Judo School of Coatzacoalcos Celebrates 41st Anniversary With Ceremony

With a significant ceremony held at its headquarters located on Miguel Ángel de Quevedo Avenue, which was attended by students, former members, coaches from different dojos in the area and sports authorities, the Kodokan Judo School of Coatzacoalcos, celebrated its 41st anniversary, a center that since its creation has sought to promote the practice of said martial art in the town in a training and competitive manner, explained its president and founder, Román Pérez.

“It has been a long and difficult path, but it has given us a lot of satisfaction throughout these four decades in which we have been promoting and disseminating our discipline; It is a real source of pride to see that our work has borne fruit with the training of excellent judokas who are now judo coaches and directors,” he mentioned.

He pointed out that the results achieved for more than four decades at the state, national and international level, encourage them to continue promoting this sport in the city.

It should be noted that the club, after this celebration, under the supervision of sensei Tania Pérez, will resume work towards its participation in the qualifying process of the Conade Games.
