Kazakevics Preparing Latvian National Team for Difficult Match Against Motivated Poland

As Kazakevics said at the press conference, the team was preparing for a difficult match, and considering the last results, it was clear that the Poles would be motivated to play aggressively.

“I would like to play more successfully and organized in the defense in the moments when the opponent created problems for us after quick transitions and vertical passes. We lacked the final shot, because there were enough interesting transitions, counterattacks. Likewise, we could squeeze more in standard situations,” said Kazakevičs.

The Polish national team ranks 31st in the FIFA ranking, while the Latvian national team is in 132nd position.
