The interior leader and his Turin runner-up were neutralized (1-1) this Sunday evening at the Allianz Stadium, for the 13th day of Serie A.

Juventus had the opportunity to take the lead in Serie A this Sunday evening in the event of a victory against their great rival, Inter Milan. In an Italian derby, between the two best defenses in the championship, the chances were poor (1-1).

Juve’s scorer, Serbian Dusan Vlahovic, opened the scoring for the Old Lady in the 27th minute of play, following a very nice combination with Federico Chiesa, before the inevitable Lautaro Martinez came to register (already) his 13th goal of the season in Serie A and equalize for the Nerazzurri a few minutes later (33rd), on a magnificent serve from Calcio’s best passer, French international Marcus Thuram. After these two brilliant moments, the two teams struggled to create interesting opportunities. Inter generally dominated collectively this meeting against the Bianconeri who never really knew how to wrap up the match.

Massimiliano Allegri’s men can blame themselves, the opportunity was great, at home, to overtake the Inter side in the standings. The latter therefore retain their place as leader of Serie A, a few days before their trip to Lisbon to face Benfica in the Champions League.
