Jorge Rey announces the exact day of the first snowfall in Spain

After the prolonged ‘summer’, the cold has arrived on the Peninsula

The meteorologist has explained that there will be a general drop in temperatures

The consequences of climate change in Spain are very evident: gusts of heat waves, floods, arrival of cyclones, among many. After a few weeks of storms that left the weather unstable, with rainfall, intense wind and coastal storm, two weeks ago the San Martin summer.

His presence has been noticed, since he has left temperatures above those usual for the time of year. All meteorologists agree, and Spain has beaten warm day records after registering maximums of 30 degrees.

Now, Jorge Rey has announced that this week a winter cold wave to Spain: “A drop in temperatures in areas mainly in the north, as well as some rain in the Cantabrian Sea.”

The 17-year-old meteorologist has warned that temperatures are low: “Highs of 7 degrees in Burgos or Soria; 12 in Orense and Bilbao; of 13 in Zaragoza or Toledo, and 20 in Seville or Valencia (…) Maximums that They could drop to 4 degrees in the northern subplateau, for example on Saturday in the city of Burgos or Soria. Just as expected 6 in Madrid or Lugo and 9 in Jaén”.

Jorge Rey has explained that if everything continues in this line, starting this Thursday the “first frosts more than mild” and snowfall is expected in mountain systems. The minimums could reach minus 4 degrees in the central system or Iberian system, and could reach -8 degrees in the Pyrenees”.
