MANUEL NEUER: Didn’t have to fend off a single dangerous shot at his goal in the first half, but was called upon more often after the break. Important: his brilliant performance against Reus (56th) during Dortmund’s pressure phase. SPORT1 grade: 2
NOUSSAIR MAZRAOUI: Reported to be fit in time after his cold and showed a confident performance – defensively and offensively. SPORT1 grade: 2
DAYOT UPAMECANO (until 59): On the pitch for the first time since October 8th – and not only important with his powerful header goal to give FCB an early lead. ALPHONSO DAVIES: The only Bayern defender with difficulties. In the first half in particular, he produced several avoidable ball losses (13 in total!) – some of which were in his own half – and hardly took place offensively. This Goretzka is worth his weight in gold for Bayern
KONRAD LAIMER: In Kimmich’s absence, he took on the role of defensive six and showed a significant improvement in performance compared to previous games. He took a courageous and poisonous approach and found very good solutions even when he had possession of the ball. SPORT1 grade: 1
LEON GORETZKA: Back in the team after his metacarpal fracture – and immediately immensely important! Showed a strong performance on the eight ball, kept pushing and started the 2-0 wonderfully with a perfectly timed pass to Sané. This Goretzka is worth its weight in gold for Bayern! SPORT1 grade: 1
KINGSLEY COMAN: Important asset on Bayern’s right wing! Caused a lot of danger offensively, but also worked diligently back and supported Mazraoui. His best move: his assist to make it 3-0. SPORT1 grade: 1

JAMAL MUSIALA (until 90): As usual, bustling, creative, hard to contain – the ideal connection player, especially when switching moves. After a good start, I lost a bit of determination and got stuck a few times towards the end of the first round. His goals 15, 16 and 17 in his 14th appearance for the record champions! In addition, he was very well integrated into the offensive game and repeatedly made clever demands on the ball.
