With a great participation, the inter-faculty men’s basketball tournament of the Autonomous University of Sinaloa was inaugurated, in the facilities of the “Jesús Alfredo Cuén Ojeda” sports center.
During the opening ceremony, authorities such as Gilberto Berrelleza Reyes and César Acosta, director and deputy director of UAS sports, were present; Armida Llamas Estrada, director of the Faculty of Architecture and Iván Esparza, head of the basketball branch at the golden institution.

As for the faculties that will be taking part in the tournament, they include Architecture, Engineering, Chemistry-Biology, Psychology, Faculty of Accounting and Administration, Medicine, Dentistry, Physical Education, Physics-mathematical and Computer Science.
Iván Esparza was precisely in charge of offering the welcome message to the participating authorities and players.
The mandatory protest was carried out by the senior national team player, Max Milan.
When speaking, Gilberto Berrelleza Reyes, UAS sports director, thanked the students and their respective faculties for their enthusiasm for being present at this tournament, as well as words of gratitude to the principal rector, Jesús Madueña Molina, for everything the support it provides to sports in general and the various programs that are motivating for all student athletes.
Dr. Armida Llamas Estrada, director of the Faculty of Architecture, was in charge of giving formality to the ceremony with the inauguration and taking the symbolic first shot at the basket.
The activity immediately began with the first games of this inter-faculty basketball tournament of the Autonomous University of Sinaloa.
