When asked about the Munich people’s search for a new sports director, Honorary President Uli Hoeneß (71) announced in an interview with “RTL”: “We are not committed. But we said we would probably hire a guy in that area in the next three, four, five or six months.”

And further: “We will continue to provide the club with friendly advice. If our advice is sought, we will provide it. But we won’t be there three times a week to discuss things.”
Fittingly: On Monday evening, BILD caught the members of Bayern’s supervisory board in downtown Munich. After the meeting of their committee, the powerful people in charge around Hoeneß, President Herbert Hainer (69) and former CEO Rummenigge went to dinner at “DO & CO” on Weinstrasse between Marienplatz and Frauenkirche.

According to BILD information, the meeting was about the position of sports director, which was held by Hasan Salihamidzic (46) until his dismissal at the end of May. As Hoeneß has now confirmed, the supervisory board decided: Yes, there should be a Brazzo successor!
