FC Bayern ends earnings crisis – Sport

FC Bayern’s basketball players have ended their crisis in results. On Wednesday evening they won their Euroleague game in the sold-out BMW Park with 94:85 (53:51) against Partizan Belgrade – and avoided their fifth defeat in a row across all competitions. After a mediocre start, the Munich team got better and better into the game from the second quarter onwards, erased the ten-point deficit and were ahead 53:51 at halftime. Their builder Carsen Edwards had already collected 13 points. In the end, the top scorer had 21 points, and Devin Booker (13) and Sylvain Francisco (17) also scored double figures. When it came to rebounds and three-pointers, Bayern were clearly superior to their opponents, who were frantically supported by around 4,000 fans in the 6,500-capacity hall in Munich. Three minutes before the end things got hectic again, Bayern only led 82:81. But the strong Francisco and Leandro Bolmaro’s dunking led them to the finish.
