Interclubs started this weekend. For three weeks, many French tennis clubs will live to the rhythm of the most important national team competition: the French Pro A and Pro B team championships! In Pro A , 12 clubs, among the men, and 10 clubs, among the women, are in the running to try to win, at the end of the group stage which will take place from November 11 to 26, their ticket to the final. This will take place on December 2 in Toulouse, at the club Toulouse Stadium(Occitanie league).
Le Blanc-Mesnil titled at the 2022 Interclubs
The French champion, Blanc-Mesnil ST, in Pool A
In Pool A of Men’s Pro A, the TC Loon Plage finalist two years ago, exploded CT Clermont 6-0. Botic Van de Zandschulp et Constant Lestiennewere lined up. On Wednesday, the Northerners travel to Primrose. Quite a shock. On their clay court, the Bordelais conceded a draw against Annecy-le-Vieux. Rookie Roberto Bautista Agut was surprised by Matteo Martineau . Fortunately, Calvin Hemery, Mathias Bourgue (photo) et Elliot Benchetrit won their singles. But the Bordelais lost both doubles, one of which 12-10 in the super tie-break….
On Saturday, Blanc-Mesnil ST – reigning champion – was only able to bring home a draw from Thionville. Barely eliminated from Helsinki, Alexandre Müuller reported his point against Bernabe Zapata Miralles but the Mosellans, eye-catching, snatched the two doubles. The men of 93 are making their second trip to Annecy Le Vieux. The last meeting will pit Clermont against Thionville. The Picards – who aligned the Hungarian Fabian MarozsanSaturday at No. 1 – need a success.
The reminder of the format
