The season has come to an early end for another quarterback in the National Football League (NFl). The New York Giants will be without quarterback Daniel Jones for the remainder of the season. The 26-year-old suffered a torn cruciate ligament in his right knee in Sunday’s 30-6 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders. Coach Brian Daboll made the announcement on Monday after an examination of the player.

The nominal backup quarterback Tyrod Taylor is currently unable to play due to a rib injury. Tommy DeVito could now act as a playmaker. The 25-year-old rookie went undrafted to the Giants before the season. The team from New York currently has two wins and seven defeats and has little chance of making it into the play-offs.
