Eintracht Frankfurt is looking for a striker. Apparently an attacker from the Czech league has become the focus of the SGE.

Frankfurt – After the departure of Randal Kolo Muani, who moved to the French top club Paris Saint-Germain, there was a big gap in Eintracht Frankfurt’s attack. The new additions of Omar Marmoush (VfL Wolfsburg) and Jessic Ngankam (Hertha BSC) were initially unable to close this gap. But the initial difficulties have been overcome, Marmoush in particular turned up the heat recently and scored important goals.

Eintracht Frankfurt is planning to sign a striker

However, Eintracht Frankfurt will most likely sign a new attacker in the winter to give head coach Dino Toppmöller more options. “You can assume that someone will come. We’ll see what’s possible in winter,” said sports director Timmo Hardung recently on the TV station RTL+ on the sidelines of the Conference League game against HJK Helsinki.

Incidentally, Timo Werner, who has a difficult time at RB Leipzig and cannot go beyond the role of a supplementary player, is not an issue on the Main. “Timo is a great player who has proven that he can play at a very high level and score goals. But it’s not an issue for us,” said sports director Markus Krösche Picture TV clear.

The situation is different with Rafiu Durosinmi, who, according to consistent media reports, is said to be a hot candidate at Eintracht Frankfurt. The pay TV channel Sky now reports that there have already been good discussions between the SGE and the players’ side. However, the 20-year-old would probably not be an immediate solution, as he is expected to be out until the end of the year due to a knee injury and would then have to fight his way back through team training.

Eintracht Frankfurt: Durosinmi approaching?

Durosinmi, who currently has a market value of two million euros and is under contract with Pilsen until 2026, came to the U19 of Czech club MFK Karvina from Nigeria in 2021. There he made his breakthrough and became a professional. In August of this year he moved to Viktoria Pilsen for a transfer fee of around 850,000 euros.
