After a short period of getting used to it, Dimitri Lavalee has now found his role at SK Sturm Graz.
The 26-year-old Belgian, who found his way to Murstadt a few hours before the transfer deadline, has quickly developed into a reliable player for the Austrian Cup winners, be it in defense or in the midfield diamond.
However, the fact that Lavalee would actually play in Graz was anything but a sure thing. “Before the deal I was nervous because I hadn’t heard from my agent for a while, but then he said that Sturm wanted me. I wouldn’t have accepted any other offer, I just wanted Sturm,” said the Belgian in the “Krone” back.
