After the report was delivered to Dimayor and the respective investigation was carried out, the player received a four-date sanction and a fine of more than one million pesos.
“The Committee decided to sanction Mr. Teófilo Antonio Gutiérrez Roncancio, a registered player of the Club Asociación Deportivo Deportivo Cali, with a suspension of four (4) dates and a fine of one million five thousand pesos ($1,005,000) for incurring the infraction described in the literal g) of article 63 of the CDU of the FCF, for the conduct that occurred in the match played for the 3rd round of the League’s Home Run against Club Deportes Tolima SA, based on the provisions of the match commissioner’s report and the testimonial evidence carried out in proceedings before this same committee,” he reported.
In addition, he asked Deportivo Cali: “The responsibility of initiating educational awareness campaigns, in which Mr. Teófilo Antonio Gutiérrez Roncancio is involved, aimed at ensuring that in the scenarios in which the FPC is developed, and especially in those where “the investigated Club acts as a Local, spaces are promoted in which respect for the dignity of women prevails and any manifestation that constitutes gender violence is rejected. 3. An appeal for reconsideration is filed against this decision before this same Committee.”
