On Wednesday, Manuel Neuer, FC Bayern’s goalkeeper, was at the Berlin Olympic Stadium for a PR meeting. And there he formulated his claim to return to the goal of the German national team. Already in March, and above all: with a view to the European Championships, which will take place in Germany in 2024 and end on July 14th in Berlin. “I want to play in this stadium behind me. The European Championship final is taking place here,” were Neuer’s words.
