The founding ceremony was attended by over 100 key figures from the badminton, sports, and political circles, including President Park Ji-eun of Daegu Science University, appointed professors and advisors, Daegu City Sports Council President Park Young-ki, Daegu City Badminton Association President Choi Seung-tak, Korea University Badminton Federation President Lee Hyeong-gwan, and Korea University Badminton Federation Executive Director Deuk-jun Lee. people attended.

Daegu City Athletics Chairman Park Young-ki said, “We will actively help the Daegu Science University badminton team to become the best badminton team by providing generous administrative and financial support.”
