Despite a strong performance, RB Leipzig lost again to defending champions Manchester City in the Champions League. A good eight months after the 7-0 humiliation, the Bundesliga team gave up a 2-0 lead on Tuesday evening and lost 3-2 in England.
Lois Openda gave Leipzig the lead with a brace in the 13th and 33rd minutes. Manchester striker Erling Haaland (54th minute), Phil Foden (70th) and Julian Alvarez (87th) turned the encounter around.
