The Champagne Conlinoise judo club begins its 2023-2024 season with a new record number of licensees, allowing it to be the leading Sarthe club in terms of membership for the second consecutive year and to remain the leading rural Sarthe club.
Karine Jouanneau, president, takes stock: We are at the end of October and already have 230 licensees and we hope that the current trials will come to fruition. We reap the fruit of our labor, we never rest on our achievements. Moreover, different projects are close to our hearts such as judo awareness, self-defense, refereeing, parajudo… It is important that our members can access varied activities, which is why we remain at the listening to their needs. With a friendly atmosphere and respectful practice of the moral code, it is pleasant to see the students having fun. We owe this tremendous success to David our teacher who trains regularly and to the volunteers we bring together during our activities.”

The club has just received the silver label issued by the French judo federation, a guarantee of quality and the symbol that the club is doing everything possible to promote this discipline. However, in order to continue to welcome in good conditions, a more adapted and larger structure becomes necessary according to the president.
The club will meet on Sunday, December 3, at the Joël-Le Theule gymnasium in Conlie for its annual tournament.
