Central Enterrano Secures Hard-Fought Victory Over Neptunia

Central dominated a good part of the game, with the goals of Santiago Cansina and Valentino Canevali in the first quarter, plus the good work of Bernabé Wessolowski in the second quarter, while Neptunia, despite losing many balls, tried to stay in the game with work by Faustino Otarán in the interior area.

Central maintained a difference of over 12 points but little by little Neptunia came closer, with good work from Aryan Arakaki and Franco Pauletti, who accompanied Otarán well. Central regained dominance again with Cansina in the two baskets and good passes from Wessolowski, but in the final quarter, the Tricolores attacked and managed to take the lead with a great goal from Pauletti.

But when it seemed that things were getting complicated, Casnina appeared with a double and González made a phenomenal run so that Central could rearrange things and win a hard-fought 58-53 victory that leaves them well positioned to fight for classification against Temperley.

In the Rojinegro, Santiago Cansina stood out (17 points and 10 rebounds), Bernabé Wessolowski scored 12 and Nahir Martínez 10, while Faustino Otarán with 18 points and 9 recoveries was the best of Neptunia, well accompanied by Aryan Arakaki with 11 and Franco Pauletti with 9.

On Sunday, at 11:30 Central Entrerriano will play against Temperley de Rosario in a head-to-head match to determine who will qualify for the final, while at 2:00 p.m. Neptunia will complete against Villa San Martín de Chaco, both for their first victory.
