Almost two weeks ago against Hertha BSC (3:1), FCN gem Can Uzun (17) failed with a penalty to Berlin goalkeeper Ernst. On Wednesday in the cup against Rostock (3:2 nV), the German-Turk missed another penalty. In the last minute of extra time, the offensive whirlwind slipped away after a small swerve in the run-up and shot the ball well over the goal.

Can Uzun now take another shot at the next penalty? Coach Cristian Fiél (43) when asked by BILD: “The boys will decide that among themselves. That’s what you’re on the pitch for. If you feel good beforehand, then you take the ball. But maybe someone else will say: Let me go today!”
The club coach continued: “Of course I’m staying out of it. Should I now also decide who takes penalties? They’re old enough for that.”
