Bericoto is back and stays until the end

The rookie sensation of the Navegantes del Magallanes is back. After almost a month of absence, Víctor Bericoto has returned to Venezuela and says he is ready to play with La Nave until the end of the 2023-2024 LVBP season.

“I was very eager to be here on the field, supporting the team. “I feel happy to be home again,” said Bericoto in statements reported on the LVBP website.

“I’m here and I’m staying for the rest of the season,” the Aragüeño firmly added, who this 2023 – in the minors – hit .272 and hit 27 home runs.

Bericoto traveled to the US at the end of October to carry out a special program with the San Francisco Giants, in which he worked on “hitting and movement on the field.” But he is ready to pick up right where he left them and continue earning the respect of the fans.

In his first seven games in the LVBP, the 21-year-old outfielder had 11 hits, including four doubles and a home run, drove in four runs and scored another seven. His batting average was .407 and his OPS was 1.060.
