The Argentinian Camilo Ugo Carabelli advanced this afternoon to the quarterfinals of the Montevideo Tennis Challengerin Uruguay, by beating the Swede Elias Ymer by 6-2, 6-7 (6-8) and 6-1, in a day in which the Pilarenses were eliminated Santiago Rodríguez Taverna and the rosarino Renzo Olivo.

The Buenos Aires native Camilo Ugo Carabelli, ranked 144th in the ATP world ranking, surpassed the Swede Elías Ymer (157th) after 2 hours and 43 minutes of play.

Ugo Carabelli will face the Brazilian in the quarterfinals Thiago Monteiro (127), who previously defeated Santiago Rodríguez Taverna from Pilar (253), after 1 hour and 40 minutes of fighting.
