The annual Halloween badminton tournament of the Penne-Inter-Club (the PIC) brought together around thirty participants, licensed or not from several clubs in the region as well as former players. This friendly competition takes place in the form of a match in 2 sets against each of the teams composed of 2 or 3 people. 10 teams were formed and competed in good humor between 9 p.m. and 1 a.m. Disguise was required, but not all of these trappings held up well to the enthusiasm of the participants. The ages of the participants ranged from 13 to 70 years old. A small snack with traditional pumpkin soup ended the evening. An appointment has been made for next year. The Penne Inter Club is affiliated with the FSGT (Workplace Sports and Gymnastics Federation). The FSGT is an approved multi-sport federation for Youth and Sport and Youth and Popular Education. Badminton training – competition and leisure – takes place at the Roger Maurel gymnasium.
