AMLO Presents Reconstruction Plan for Acapulco – El Sol de México

A basic basket of 24 will be delivered products per week to each family per week, 250 thousand affected families in Acapulco will benefit from this support and 3 million basic baskets will be distributed for three months. This week the affected homes will be given 8 thousand pesos for cleaning and painting; The most damaged homes will be given 35 thousand pesos up to 60 thousand pesos depending on the damage and in accordance with the census that is being carried out. The federal president added that nearly 50,000 homes have been censused. All affected families will be given household goods, including a bed, a stove, a refrigerator, a fan and a set of dishes. 20 thousand word credits of 25 thousand pesos without interest will be given, to be paid in three years and 6 months. of grace; This for the benefit of small merchants and other service providers. The federal government will allocate 10 billion pesos from the budget for growth and improvement of water, drainage, street repairs, public lighting, hospitals, schools and airports. There will be no tax collections. neither in Acapulco nor in Coyuca from October of this year until February 2024, including VAT and ISR. A GN barracks with 250 elements in each one will be established in each neighborhood of more than a thousand homes to guarantee security. Nacional Financiera will give credits without interest for SMEs. The Ministry of Finance will support those who request loans with the payment of half of the interest, this aid is intended for 377 hotels in Acapulco, including agreements with commercial banking. The Ministry of Infrastructure and Communications (SIC) will give 218 million pesos of its budget to rehabilitate the Acapulco-Chilpancingo highway and the federal highway, two bypasses of the Costa Grande and the Costa Chica. The entire reconstruction work of Acapulco and Coyuca will be coordinated by Luisa María Alcalde Luján, Secretary of the Interior and by Evelyn Salgado Pineda, constitutional governor of Guerrero.
