“It’s really bad that we can’t do sports, it’s complicated to do badminton in this gym so instead we do ping-pong in a smaller room and it’s really bad“, says Eva in the 3rd grade in this establishment. Since the start of the school year, when the gymnasium is flooded, the teachers have had no other choice than to cancel the planned badminton class and take refuge in a space as large as a classroom.
“There are two classes of us in this small room and it’s really complicated especially since it’s almost all boys, it’s a circus, there’s a lot of noise and no one really listens to the teachers“, deplores Eva. The gymnasium of the Jules Lagneau college is notably supposed to house boxing or futsal classes provided by sports associations.
