One appreciation too many for a girl. This is the trigger that caused a huge brawl to break out in Torre Maura. An inappropriate compliment to a Moldovan girl from a Moroccan citizen which sparked the anger of the woman’s friends. Then the violence, during which a baseball bat also appeared.
There were dozens of requests for intervention on 112 starting from 9pm on Sunday evening in front of a bar in via Sassonegro, the eastern quadrant of the capital. On site, called by the residents, the police found only four people: the disputed Moldovan woman, the Moroccan ‘suitor’ ‘punished’ with a broken nose, and two Romanians.
All were reported for brawling, while the girl had a baseball bat she was carrying with her seized.
