The national badminton competition returns after the holiday break and the team from the University of Valladolid started the course with good results in the absolute masters.
After a good preseason, UVa traveled to Cantabrian lands to compete in the absolute National Master’s Degree in Liencres. After a long and marathon day on Saturday, the men’s doubles of Javier González and Enrique Fernández managed to sneak into some very hard-fought semi-finals, for his part Enrique did the same in the singles table.
Already on Sunday, González and Fernández fell to the number 1 and winners of the tournament, Olivares-Pérez. On the other hand, in singles, Enrique managed to sneak into another national final, in which accumulated fatigue would cause him to lose the title in three sets against Tomás Toledano from Madrid.
