FALL RIVER — Despite coming away empty-handed in Week 7, Fall River area football teams received some good performances on the gridiron.
Atlantis Charter/Westport, Case, Diman, Durfee and Somerset Berkley will each look to get back into the win column in Week 8 action.
Playoff seedings and the non-qualifier schedule will be out next week.

Davion Adediran, Atlantis Charter/Westport
The Tritons’ freshman quarterback was 14-of-27 for 170 yards and a touchdown pass against Roxbury Prep Charter.
Sam Melo, Case
Melo had a pair of receiving touchdowns and a 65-yard kickoff return for a score for the Cardinals in their game against Bourne.
Nathan Wood, Case
The senior running back rushed for 131 yards on 20 carries against Bourne.
James McKenzie, Diman
McKenzie had a pick six for a touchdown — one of two touchdowns for the Bengals against Southeastern.
Kayden Keav, Durfee
The Hilltopper junior running back scored his first two touchdowns of the season against Dennis Yarmouth. He also rushed for a team-high 71 yards.
Derek Baliko, Somerset Berkley
The senior quarterback had a big day against league opponent Old Rochester. He rushed for 105 yards and scored a 65-yard touchdown run on the first play from scrimmage. He also threw for a touchdown.
Ethan Santos, Somerset Berkley
The senior running back scored a pair of touchdowns — one receiving and another on the ground — against league opponent Old Rochester. He also rushed for a team-high 124 yards.
