The Main Director of the Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), Ari Respati, mentioned tickets Mandalika MotoGP 2023 which will take place on October 13-15, only 18 percent remains.

“Currently there are only 15-18 percent of tickets remaining. My hope is that media partners can provide support to report it well so that audiences want to watch live at The Mandalika and extend their holidays to enjoy the beauty of Lombok longer,” said Ari in an official statement, Tuesday ( 3/10).

Ari’s statement is a sign that the 2023 Mandalika MotoGP event will invite high interest from the audience. Mandalika MotoGP 2023 tickets are sold from IDR 250 thousand to IDR 20 million. The Mandalika MotoGP promoter, MGPA, is targeting 80 thousand spectators to attend the Mandalika Circuit.

The implementation of the Mandalika MotoGP, which is just over a week away, means that preparations continue to be accelerated. Currently, the MGPA has made various improvements to the 4.3 kilometer circuit.

“Today, preparations for the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit to hold the 2023 Indonesian GP have almost reached 100%. Various preparations have been made starting from track repairs, readiness of marshals, medical centers, paddock facilities, grandstands, to inner-circuits,” said the Main Director MGPA, Priandhi Satria.

MGPA together with Roadgrip have started repainting the curbs and run-off area of ​​the Circuit. Of the total area of ​​27,380 m2, repainting has reached approximately 22,000 m2. Apart from that, sensors have also been installed for the new track-limit area according to FIM’s request, as well timing system.

MGPA has also conducted training for marshals who will be on duty during the race. It is recorded that 402 marshals, 95 percent of whom are local residents, are ready for duty.

From the medical center side, MGPA has prepared the provision of complete medical equipment such as ambulances, providing an experienced medical team and emergency care facilities.

Meanwhile in the paddock area, the MGPA continues to coordinate with Dorna to prepare the layout and various facilities as an operations center for the racing team, including paddock facilities others such as Media Center, Relaxing Zone, and Team Office.

For spectators and invited guests, the organizers have also prepared the best hospitality in the Premier Box room and VIP Deluxe area. All grandstands have been prepared to accommodate spectators according to the capacity of each grandstand.

“The audience is our main guest at this event, therefore we have prepared all the viewing facilities as well as possible. Just as the audience in the Premier Box and VIP Deluxe can watch comfortably, we will also ensure that the audience in the grandstand area will be able to enjoy the entire series race comfortably,” said Priandi.
