Asked in Relevo if he would return to Sevilla, Joaquín Caparrós said: «Of course yes. Furthermore, the president, the vice president, all the advisors and all the people in the club know it. There are things that I have to keep quiet about because of the respect I have for this club. But I would have liked to be and continue at Sevilla. That of course. People know it. I also think I have answered him by saying that if it were not for Pepe Castro, the second time, I would not have returned.

I took my team, with Carlos Marchena and Paco Gallardo, who were training in the lower categories, and we went up without any type of experience. But we took charge with a very great sense of Sevillismo that we carried within us. It was a good experience, another part of football. Of course, a part that I don’t like very much. Above all, I don’t like negotiating. I have never liked it. I liked it and I like directing, but negotiating contracts, well, no. And even more so when an agent came to negotiate contracts with kids from the quarry.
