On July 21, 2022, HSV legend Uwe Seeler died at the age of 85 in his home in Norderstedt/Schleswig-Holstein and was buried in Hamburg’s Ohlsdorf cemetery. Since then, the grave of the greatest HSVer of all time has been a place of pilgrimage for fans.
They can hang memorabilia such as scarves, pictures, flags or jerseys on a fence wall on the side of the grave field, and they also make plenty of use of it. Only: Suddenly almost all the things from the fence have disappeared!

It would seem obvious that the items were taken down and stored by an employee of the cemetery gardening department to protect them against the bad autumn weather. But: The cemetery administration had no information about this on Monday.
Or were the memorabilia stolen? That would be an outrageous thing…
