Aaron Aaron Rodgers, quarterback of the New York Jets, stated that he seeks to inspire people with the way he recovers from the rupture of the Achilles tendon he suffered, an injury that will not be the end of his career in the NFL.

“I’m trying to inspire to see recovery in a different way, I want to inspire a lot of people to see this injury not as a death sentence for my career, which at one time it really was, but to know that with your strength of will, everything is possible,” stressed the 39-year-old player.

A couple of days after the game it was announced that the four-time NFL Most Valuable Player would miss the remainder of the 2023 season following the surgery he underwent, a sentence that Aaron Rodgers said he will reverse.

“There is nothing normal about how I am approaching rehabilitation. They said I had to spend six weeks in an orthopedic boot and I walked in sneakers in 13 days. This is my way of thinking, I believe in the power of intention, of prayer, in your mental state and in the power of your willpower,” he said.

The Super Bowl XLV champion demonstrated it last Sunday when he walked on the grass of MetLife Stadium, home of the Jets, in sneakers, barely supported by a pair of crutches.

Aaron Rodgers even took time to ask for the ball to throw a short delivery before his team’s loss to the Chiefs in Week 4 of the 2023 season in which he did not rule out reappearing.
