The Euroleague has indicated this Monday that the matches of the third day of the Euroleague and the Eurocup that were to be played in Tel Aviv (Israel), including Maccai-Valencia Basket, will be played at the rival’s home and are postponed to the second return of the championships the duels on Hebrew soil, due to the current war situation.

“The order of the matches on the third day of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and the BKT EuroCup between Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv and Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv has been changed,” the Euroleague announced.

The match of the 3rd round of the Regular Phase of the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague between Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv and Valencia Basket, scheduled for October 18, will be played in Valencia instead of Tel Aviv, while the match of the 32nd day will be held in the Israeli city.

Likewise, the match on matchday 3 of the BKT EuroCup Regular Phase between Hapoel Shlomo Tel Aviv and Umana Reyer Venice, scheduled for October 17, will be played in Venice, while the match on matchday 12 It will be held in Tel Aviv.

“This decision has been taken after the terrorist attacks and the start of the armed conflict in Israel,” the Euroleague explained in its statement.
