KNVB provides clarity: basic player Ajax misses a crucial match against FC Utrecht

Ajax cannot call on Silvano Vos on Sunday, October 22, when the Amsterdam team visits FC Utrecht. Because yellow cards, which do not result in a direct suspension, from the last two rounds of the previous season are carried over to the new season, Vos now has to grumble. Vos received a yellow card in the 37th round during a match between Jong Ajax and Jong AZ. As a result, his ‘season total’ now stands at five.
Vos was the subject of discussion in Rondo on Ziggo Sport on Monday evening. The midfielder, who had to commit many fouls in his first six matches for Ajax, has not yet pleased analyst Marco van Basten. “Potential? Well, I don’t think so. The KNVB further announced that Viergever will also not participate in the match between Utrecht and Ajax. “FC Utrecht defender Nick Viergever will also miss the match in the Galgenwaard.
