The Belgian beer La Redoutable sponsors… Israel Premier-Tech: “I was even invited to the Champs-Élysées”

A few months ago, the Pro Team training was in training in the Ardennes before Liège-Bastogne-Liège. “I found myself with the team boss, Sylvan Adams (Editor’s note: winner of the UCI Gran Fondo in the 65-69 age category last August), on the bike and at first, I didn’t know who it was. It was, continues the resident of Louveigné. We teased each other a little over the bumps as we tackled each other. A few days later he told me he wanted me to become a partner in the team.”

In exchange for some compensation, the deal was quickly finalized and La Redoutable now appears on Israel Premier-Tech cars and buses. “We can say that I played my role as ambassador well,” laughs Rik Verbrugghe.

“Since then, I have been considered like all the other sponsors and I was even invited to the Champs-Élysées at the end of the Tour,” concludes Pierre-Yves Jacqmin. It’s a fairy tale like only cycling can give us.”
