The Championship, which opens the autumn sporting season, will see two days of regattas scheduled for 22 and 29 October with a maximum of 5 total races, of which 3 are daily. The regattas will take place in the waters in front of the port of Rimini on routes designed based on the weather conditions of the day. The Championship program opens on Sunday 22 October at 9.00 am with the briefing for the skippers at the headquarters of the Rimini Sailing Club. The starting signal will be given at 11.00.
“The Autumn Championship, declares the head of sporting activities of the Rimini Sailing Club Matteo Forni, is an event that opens the new sporting season and is an opportunity to warm up the crews preparing for the winter commitments.” The Championship is open to all sailing boats which will be divided into two classifications, OPEN and ORC, with a category also dedicated to white sails. Thanks to the collaboration with the Marina di Rimini, registered boats will have the possibility of mooring until November 6th.
The awards ceremony will take place at the headquarters of the Rimini Sailing Club on Sunday 29 October after the regattas have taken place.
