Introduction
After a prolific summer of successes, the “Arcieri Tre Torri” team is ready to resume the indoor competitive season.
This weekend, the sports hall in via Carreggia in Cardano al Campo (VA) will host two important competitions:
the “I Indoor Tre Torri Senior-Master” on Saturday and the “III Indoor Youth Tre Torri” on Sunday.
These events mark the beginning of a new season of challenges for the club’s archers.
The Cardano al Campo Sports Hall
The Municipality of Cardano al Campo was recently honored with the title of “European Municipality of Sport 2023”, and has hosted numerous sporting events in multiple disciplines.
This weekend, archers will be the protagonists at the Sports Hall, creating an atmosphere of competition and camaraderie.
The Competitions
The “I Indoor Tre Torri Senior-Master” will be held on Saturday and will start at 2pm, with the awards ceremony scheduled for around 8.30pm.
On Sunday, it will be the turn of the “III Tre Torri Youth Indoor”, with the races starting at 9 in the morning.
These events are an opportunity for participants to test their skills and compete on a local level.
Summer Hits
The “Arcieri Tre Torri” team spent a summer full of satisfactions, with numerous victories and podiums in various regional and national competitions.
Among the highlights, we find third place overall in the women’s compound at the “Italian 3D Championships” in Terni, with Anna Puricelli.
At the “Italian Targa Championships” in Seravezza, Samuele Barigozzi took silver among the compound boys.
And Elena Crespi took class bronze in the master women’s compound and Alessio Rudoni won bronze in the senior bare bow.
Elena Crespi also added class silver at the “Italian Country Shooting Championships” in Castel di Sangro.
Regional successes
At a regional level, the archers obtained further recognition, such as class gold for Anna Puricelli in the over 20 compound at the “3D Regional Championships” in Almenno San Bartolomeo
– Fabio Buscato won bronze in the under 20 bare bow. In the “Regional Championship Country Shot” in Carvico
-Elena Crespi won class gold among the masters and Anna Puricelli silver among the seniors, with Anna then winning the overall title.
Alessandra Bigogno and Alessio Rudoni they earned overall silver in the mixed team barebow event.
