Everything is ready in Palamós for the dispute of XX Historic Costa Brava Rally by Motula test that will kick off on Thursday afternoon, from 6 p.m., and that will celebrate its twentieth anniversary consolidated as one of the benchmark events for historic motoring on a continental scale.
The International Automobile Federation (FIA) has trusted this year in the test organized by Club RallyClassics to host the FIA Trophy for Historic Regularity Ralliesthe most important trophy in this discipline that allows drivers and fans to enjoy the magic of historic rallies as they were in past decades.
The beach of Sant Esteve de la Fosca it was the location chosen for the official presentation of the rally, a perfect setting for an event that could not be conceived without the ubiquitous presence of the Girona coast. A few meters from this enclave, on the seafront of Palamós, the 132 registered teams are already ready for the start of a test where female participation stands out, which will once again break records, with the presence of 12 female pilots and 36 female co-pilots, thanks to the program #MotorDona powered by RallyClassics.
Much of the success of this event is due to the excellent location of its closed park and starting podium, in full Paseo del Mar de Palamós, a few meters from the beach. There will also be a vehicle lane and a village.
In this edition, the stage departures will take place on Thursday from 6pm, Friday from 3pm and Saturday from 3.30pm.
