Texas Rangers and Arizona Rattlers Set to Face Off in the World Series

DUEL. The World Series already has its two protagonists, teams that at the beginning of the season did not appear on the radar, but did what seemed impossible, these are the Texas Rangers and the Arizona Rattlers, who will fight from Friday for being the new king of Major League Baseball.

Both teams reached this stage after leaving two big favorites, the Rangers eliminated the current champions Houston Astros and the D-Backs the Philadelphia Phillies, both in a seventh game to win their division.

The Texas Rangers had not played in the World Series since ‘201.

Since then it was a tough rebuild that led to 102 losses in 2021 alone. Then manager Bruce Bochy, and players like Corey Seager, Marcus Semien, Adolis García and rookies Josh Jung and Evan Carter appeared to make the big magic.

Arizona, for its part, has not been in a World Series since 2001, just when they won it against the New York Yankees.

The World Series begins this Friday, October 27 at 7:03 pm at Globe Life Field and it is about winning four games out of seven for the crown.
