“It’s the same every weekend. With a hard rear tire, our bike is more consistent, but we really struggled in the full race on Sunday,” said Marquez as reported Speedweek.

“The tires then wear out very quickly, the time difference is significant, and you also have to change your riding style. In the sprint race yesterday the tire wear was very high. Today I really thought about whether I should have made an aggressive choice and gone with the soft rear tyre. Maybe it would have been fine- “Okay, I don’t know,” he continued.

“I definitely made a conservative choice and used the same rear tire as the other riders. Then I tried to control myself throughout the race. I tried to have a stable weekend. We were successful,” Marc Marquez added.
