The impressive entertainment at Virage Auteuil as a preamble to PSG’s victory against AC Milan on Wednesday evening in the Champions League was not to everyone’s taste. Particularly on the side of UEFA, always very careful about the massive use of smoke bombs in the stands of the various European stadiums. The body in fact opened a disciplinary case this Thursday after the farandole of smoke bombs and firecrackers deployed by the Ultras Paris Collective in the minutes which preceded the kick-off of the meeting.

The UEFA disciplinary committee will meet soon – the date has not yet been set – in order to decide on the sanctions imposed on PSG (partial closed session, fines, etc.). Moreover, as announced by L’Équipe, we are able to confirm that UEFA will not sanction the Parisian club in relation to the banners displayed at the end of the first period in the corner. The latter had issued various messages about the situation in Israel and Gaza, while the platform has already shown its support for the Palestinian cause in the past, and in tribute to the victims of terrorism.

“Paris against all forms of terrorism” – “Middle East: may all innocent victims rest in peace”, “A war crime in Gaza, what is the international community doing? » – “Don’t touch my national education, RIP Mr. Dominique Bernard”, we could read in particular from Auteuil. Palestinian flags were also waved during the evening to show solidarity with the people.
