PMU – Arrival of the quinté on Wednesday October 18 in Reims: Gaspar d’Angis as planned

Arrival of the quinté: 16 – 4 – 15 – 11 – 10

Big favorite of the twelfth Stage of the Grand National du Trot (GNT), Gaspar d’Angis (n°16) did not disappoint his many takers and consolidates his yellow jersey of this Tour de France des Trotteurs. Driven with great confidence by Éric Raffin, this 7-year-old gelding confirms his last two victorious attempts obtained on right-hand rope courses and wins for the sixth time of the year in this circuit which allows him to do as well as Jean-Michel Bazire’s champion, Cleangame, in 2018.

Trainer of this son of Quaro, Jean-Michel Baudouin was rave about him: “He is perfect. He is exceptional. He’s gorgeous right now. We managed to keep him in shape. He will now be seen again in the Nantes stage (November 8), will skip the Mauquenchy stage (November 22) before being present in the final, scheduled for December 3 on the Parisian stage. »

At a distance from the winner, Gaz d’Occagnes (n°4) finished in a pleasant action and took a clear second place ahead of Gitano (n°15), quickly noticed in the leading group and the outsider, Fragonard Délo (n°11). The quinté is completed by Gaelic du Rocher (n°10) who created an illusion for a better ranking at mid-straight.

Our Summary indicated the quinté in disorder.
