Jonathan Milan (Lidl Trek) adds his third victory in the Giro

MADRID, 17 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Italian cyclist Jonathan Milan (Lidl Trek) won this Friday the thirteenth stage of the Giro d’Italia, held between Riccionie and Cento over 179 kilometers, to achieve his third victory in this edition of the Italian race, while the Slovenian Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates) continues to lead for another day

The dominator of the ‘sprints’ in this Giro has once again imposed his strength in the ‘volata’ of Cento, in which the Colombian Fernando Gaviria (Movistar) tried from a distance as usual, but the Italian ended up surpassing him with enough to raise his arms for the third time in this Giro.

This Saturday, the transalpine round will face its fourteenth stage, an individual time trial over 31.2 kilometers between Castiglione delle Stiviere and Desenzano del Garda, which will provide a new fight against the clock between Pogacar and Filippo Ganna (Ineos Grenadiers).
