Artenay. A pink October full of activity in the Commune. On the occasion of Pink October, different associations in the town of Artenay dressed in pink. They proposed various activities with the aim of raising funds for the ARC foundation which fights against breast cancer.
The Beauce Bien-être association offered a three-hour wellness session on October 6, to which around fifteen participants came. The next day, the dance association (Acdra) organized a free choreographic workshop, with four participants.
On Saturday the 14th in the evening, the Shark Poker Club association organized a tournament with 44 participants. With the help of the raffle, 510 euros were raised for this foundation. The badminton club (ABC) offered tournaments with 31 young people and 23 adults, or 145 euros up for grabs.
Last Saturday, a taiso session was offered at the Artenay gymnasium: 42 participants took to the mats, and the judo association (JCRA) collected 270 euros.
And it’s not over ! Sunday, at 4:30 p.m., the Friends of the Artenay organ are organizing a concert with Éric Brodiez, titular organist of the great organs of Artenay. He will be accompanied by a French horn and a cello. Donations will be donated to cancer research.
