The first day of the Oviedo under-13 and under-17 Master, with the participation of 115 athletes from 46 clubs and 12 autonomous communities, began yesterday at the pñ Corredoria Arena. 140 matches were played between singles, doubles and mixed. The day culminated with the classification of the athletes who advance to the semifinals and finals that will be held today starting at 9:00 a.m. Laura Garijo reached the semifinals for Badminton Oviedo, in the under-17 individual, who will now face Ángela Jiménez; Saúl Bernabeu, in under-13 men’s doubles, where he competed with Diego Gázquez, from Club Shuttle La Nucia. In the semifinals they will face the duo of Pablo Ara and Hugo Gallego.
