Jordan Barnes, Eddy Perdono… and when everyone was waiting for the arrival of an interior, Ondra Hanzlík. Player born in 2002 in the Czech Republic who arrives from Baskonia and will play for XOY Betis Baloncesto until June 30, 2024. Last season he played for Girona. Born in Prague, he is a forward trained in his early years at BA Sparta in Prague until 2015 and later, in the youth ranks of BA Nymburk. In September 2016, at just 14 years old, he arrived in Spain to join the Kirolbet Baskonia youth team, signing a contract for 8 seasons.

In the following seasons he would be part of the Kirolbet Baskonia cadet and junior teams, debuting in the 2018-19 season in the EBA League with the Alava reserve team. In the 19-20 season, the player plays for Fundación Baskonia in the EBA League, with which he averaged 15.2 points, 4 rebounds, and a PIR of 12.3 in 22 games played. In the 2020-21 season, he is loaned to Juaristi ISB of Liga LEB Plata.

On January 31, 2021, he was proclaimed champion of the LEB Plata Cup and at the end of the 2020-21 season, he would achieve promotion to the LEB Oro League, averaging 7.9 points and 6.2 efficiency during the season in LEB Silver. On August 3, 2022, he signs for Bàsquet Girona of the Endesa League, on loan from Kirolbet Baskonia.

Obviously, unless there is a surprise, we are facing a player who arrives to give the starters minutes of rest. His signing does not hide the need to bring in a new pivot.
