On the 11th, Natsumi Tsunoda (SBC Shonan Beauty Clinic), who is a 48kg women’s judo athlete and has been selected to represent the team at next year’s Paris Olympics, was awarded an honorary award from her alma mater, Tokyo Gakugei University. She attended the awards ceremony at the university’s judo hall in Koganei City, Tokyo, and expressed her determination, saying, “I want to use this experience as motivation to work even harder until next year’s Olympics.”

Tsunoda, 31, has an outstanding track record, winning three consecutive world championships since the year before last, and was offered a spot on the Paris Olympics team in June. He still practices at Tokyo Gakugei University once or twice a week. On that day, his juniors presented him with a bouquet of flowers, and he expressed his gratitude, saying, “I’m so happy to win the match and be able to give a good report to everyone.It’s giving me strength to fight.I want to work hard together.”
