Miami Heat Player’s Lunar Action Goes Viral on Social Media

The pre-season does not present any sporting challenges, but we sometimes witness quite funny situations a few days before the start of the regular campaign. In this case, a Heat player literally made social networks roar after a completely lunar action, in the middle of a match.

If there’s one team that shouldn’t be underestimated, it’s Miami. Despite a squad full of undrafted players and a very sluggish start to the season, forcing them to play the Play-In, the Floridians went all the way to the NBA Finals where they brutally surrendered against Denver (4-1). As in 2020 already, Erik Spoelstra’s men were a bit too short and they are therefore revengeful with a view to 2023-24.

While waiting for the regular campaign to open its doors, Jimmy Butler & co. take advantage of the pre-season to work on automation. After being steamrolled by Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs, they reacted perfectly with a victory over Memphis at home (132-124). A meeting that didn’t get much attention… except for this totally mind-blowing walk, signed by Julian Champagnie in Money Time.

This is not new, the NBA is much more fluid on the markets than in Europe and certain stars like Giannis Antetokounmpo or LeBron James exploit this flaw to the fullest. But there, it’s almost ten steps that the young player takes before going up to the circle. It’s hard to miss such a blatant violation of the rules… Just like Champagnie, the referees also took it for granted.

Why bounce the ball? ?????????

The referees should have been sent off for letting this happen!

Not sure that the officials will be as conciliatory with Julian Champagnie during the 2023-24 season, but the main thing is elsewhere anyway for Miami. The Floridians want to return to the NBA Finals in order to take revenge after the bitter defeat against the Nuggets last year. Not the easiest mission…
