Mexico and Germany Set to Face Off in International Friendly Match

BANGKAPOS.COM — Mexico will face Germany at Lincoln Financial Field in an international friendly match on Wednesday (18/10/2023) at 07.00 WIB.

Mexico met Ghana in their first friendly of the international window, recording a 2-0 win at Bank of America Stadium on Saturday.

Hirving Lozano and Uriel Antuna scored second-half goals to help get back to winning ways after drawing their previous two friendlies.

Germany met the United States in a friendly at Rentschler Field on Saturday and Julian Nagelsmann’s reign as four-time FIFA World Cup winning manager started with a win.

Goals from İlkay Gündoğan, Niclas Füllkrug and Jamal Musala helped them record a 3-1 comeback win after Christian Pulisic broke the deadlock in the 27th minute.

Germany, who will host UEFA Euro 2024, will play a friendly next month.

Meanwhile, Mexico will play in the CONCACAF Nations League.

As expected, Germany has the upper hand in this encounter with six wins.
