LeBron James Dedicates 21st NBA Season to Son Bronny’s Recovery

The top basketball star in the United States, star LeBron James, said this Monday that he will dedicate his 21st season in the NBA to his eldest son Bronny, who continues to successfully recover from cardiac arrest.

“Nothing else matters besides my family,” James told reporters at the Lakers’ training base in El Segundo, California.

“It doesn’t matter what’s going on, the only thing that matters is your family. Seeing what (Bronny) had to go through in the last few months, it’s been a lot. “I can only imagine what it’s been like for him, because he’s been a lot to me and a lot to our family.”

What happened to Bronny James, LeBron’s son?

The basketball world was shocked to learn that Bronny James, 18, suffered a cardiac arrest during training with his new team at the University of Southern California (USC) on July 24.

“He has begun his rehab process to get back on the court this season,” LeBron said. “He is on the rise. He is definitely a whirlwind and a lot of emotions for our family this summer,” he added.

LeBron, 38, briefly contemplated leaving basketball at the end of last season following the Los Angeles Lakers’ loss to the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference finals.

However, he noted this Monday that he had been convinced to continue his career after conversations with his family and myself. “I feel like I have a lot more in the tank to give,” he noted.
