By Sunday afternoon he still wasn’t there. Reason: Because of a traffic jam around the airport in Nairobi (Kenya), from where he was supposed to fly, he missed the plane. He had simply left home too late. Unprofessional!

On Wednesday he is scheduled to make his debut in the Europe Cup against Kosovo champions KB Peja. He won’t have much training until then.
The Niners fans who were in the hall against Gießen still have to wait for the surprise from Africa. Ongwae is supposed to replace the injured Dominic Lockhart (29), who is expected to be out until the end of November due to a torn knee ligament.

He is the seventh foreigner in the easycredit BBL, but only six are allowed to play. So he has to be better than the other six non-Germans. In the Europe Cup, however, Chemnitz can use all seven. Therefore, it will probably be used there first and foremost. Assuming he arrives in Saxony soon.
He is expected to arrive on Sunday evening and is scheduled to complete the medical check-up on Monday.
